Snialism (Eevo Snialvih; advocates are Snialwŋ or Snialists) is the mystic wing of Ngronaism. Snialism used mystical experiences, poetry, song and psychedelics. Some well-known historical artists and intellectuals were Snialists, such as Etsoj Jopah, Engar Bășuth, and Sormand Ðrwaþanve.
Inspirations: Sufism (but for a nontheistic setting), Beat Generation?
in medieval talma snialism served as an outlet for some frustrated people - snialism's existence was officially tolerated tho Snialwŋ were looked down upon
This became more popular after the Marotlian Gariadian wars.
Tenets and practices
- "identification of the divine and the interpersonal"
- the goals are cultivating knowledge of the self and empathy, rather than just doing something right because you have to or because it's right.
- meditation?
- drugs
- MUCH more personalizing of the supreme being - which might not be the truth but supposedly is the best way to talk out issues with the self. (??? maybe it should remain nontheistic)
- How does it deal with interpersonal conflict?
