This is an Swadesh list of words in English and Hantza.
List
Notes
- Bare personal pronouns are not usually employed in neutral sentences in Hantza, those provided above are "emphatic pronouns".
- Pronouns distinguish animacy not natural gender and only those that are grammatically animate occur in singular/plural pairs.
- Some words, e.g. "husband" and "man", are distinguished in Hantza only by their alienability.
- Inalienable words are given with the indefinite possessive prefix.
