Most speakers merge the pairs /pʀ pʰʀ/, /tʀ tʰʀ/ and /kʀ kʰʀ/. /ǃʀ/ is often pronounced as [ǃ]. Some dialects merge /ʀ-/ and /ŋ-/ into a nasalized uvular flap /ʀ̆ⁿ/ or approximant /ʁ̃/ and also simplify all Cr clusters to C.
