I created Europic in order to evolve dialects of it for a novel that spans about 2500 years beginning around 2100, mostly because I wanted to use an auxlang base that wasn’t Esperanto. This is just the first of five language snapshots. That said, two things:
# While the basics of the language are in place, Europic is far from “complete.” You might want to wait until it has been built up a little more. Also, please note that this page is pretty perpetually out of date. I try to keep up with it, but the official version lives in a document. So the idea is a little premature. Europic is not quite ready for Primetime.
## By the way, I’m about to drop a couple of big changes in the next few months, so at least stay tuned for that.
# If you’re truly interested in the language and its background and history, you should spend some time [https://www.lingufacture.com/eur/res.htm interacting with me and the language community], and get to know the language on more than the superficial level that can be gained from a wiki. Otherwise it feels a little someone breaking into my studio to tinker with my tools.
So, tl;dr, please don’t. –[[User:Bpnjohnson|Jamin]] ([[User talk:Bpnjohnson|talk]]) 16:29, 13 June 2025 (UTC)

I created Europic in order to evolve dialects of it for a novel that spans about 2500 years beginning around 2100, mostly because I wanted to use an auxlang base that wasn’t Esperanto. This is just the first of five language snapshots. That said, two things:

  1. While the basics of the language are in place, Europic is far from “complete.” You might want to wait until it has been built up a little more. Also, please note that this page is pretty perpetually out of date. I try to keep up with it, but the official version lives in a document. So the idea is a little premature. Europic is not quite ready for Primetime.
    1. By the way, I’m about to drop a couple of big changes in the next few months, so at least stay tuned for that.
  2. If you’re truly interested in the language and its background and history, you should spend some time interacting with me and the language community, and get to know the language on more than the superficial level that can be gained from a wiki. Otherwise it feels a little someone breaking into my studio to tinker with my tools.

So, tl;dr, please don’t. –Jamin (talk) 16:29, 13 June 2025 (UTC)
