Languages

Languages of Taercnim

Most of my languages are for the constructed world of Taercnim.

Lerta

  • Hurian (furakhum or hurrano furum) – infix- and suffix-heavy agglutinative language. Spoken in the Kingdom of Hur located north of the Hadakhisidh mountain range.
  • Qulmian (qulm sihpa or qulm usíhpa) – a language based on triconsonantal roots, with a highly unusual case system inspired by Lojban. In addition to being a liturgical language, it is also spoken by a large number of people in the eastern Kingdom of Qulma.
  • Viceose (mansviceose drod) – my first and oldest conlang, which I created back in sixth grade, and the one that has gone through the largest number of incarnations. Spoken in the southwestern region of the same name.

Islands

  • Mogdese (mogdop) – began as an experiment with an extreme form of vowel harmony.
  • Yetipe (yetipề) – a language based on vocalic and vocalic-consonantal roots, spoken in the northern islands of Blank of the Map.
