Contionary:faıre
Middle Annerish
Etymology
Disputed; per Teagan, a consolidation of disparate substrate borrowings. However, Bernthaler suggests partial Germanic origin on account of the nasal-stem verbal noun and dental preterite with preverb c (<*ga-), but concedes difficult to derive formally from any known root.
