Most of my conlangs are a posteriori. I like languages that are familiar but unique, which means I am mainly interested in Afro-Asiatic (especially Cushitic and Semitic) and Indo-European (especially Germanic and Romance). I'm also starting to get into other language families such as Bantu. | Most of my conlangs are a posteriori. For me, conlanging is mostly a fun way to get more familiar with languages (both synchronically and diachronically) and improve my linguistic skills. As a result, I tend to leave my languages unfinished once I have a basic skeleton. Hopefully writing about them online forces me to put a little more effort (the coding aspect is also fun). | |||
