Sino-Tiberian (漢語 /θáʀ ʕɔ̂/) is a divergent descendant of Old Chinese with a Tiberian Hebrew-inspired phonology. It is the only surviving descendant of Old Chinese that is monosyllabic and tonal. It can be written in the vocalized Hebrew alphabet with cantillation marks for tones.
