Toki Ike /to˦ki˧ i˦˥˨ke˩˧/ is a language with minimalistic consonants, vowels and phonotactics but with 10 possible tones on each syllable. It is a parody of Toki Pona.

Toki Ike phonotactics is identical to that of Toki Pona except:

  • /ti/ is allowed but realized as [si]
  • nasal codas are disallowed.

Toki Ike has 410 possible syllables, including tone. However, non-word-initial syllables may only have one of /˧ ˨/ tones.

Toki Ike syllables have 10 possible tones: /˥ ˦ ˧ ˨ ˩ ˧˩ ˦˥˨ ˥˦ ˧˥ ˩˧/, romanized ā̄ ā a a̱ a̱̱ a̖ a̰ ȧ á a̗. /˧/ is the least marked tone.

Toki Ike morphology is predominantly suffixing.
