Ośnir(Ośnir: syhośnirá [sɨxoʂɲirɑː]) is a North Ossic language spoken natively by around 40,000 Ośnir people(ośnirá) in the region of Oślaith,[a] which is primarily situated around the Oś river. However, in recent years it has also gained many L2 speakers thanks to the efforts of proponents of Iśatúredá(lit. "Iśatúr-ism"), both its original proponents, and its modern continuation, the Vilskar. Thus, since the beginning, the Ośnir language has spread in use across the Confederacy, far from traditional Oślaith, and has also massively influenced the Iśatúr and Vilskar movements.
