Bizozogu (Bizozogu: bi5 zo1 zo2 gu4) is a language isolate of Angai, which is the national language of Labizotriyo (Bizozogu: la4 tri2 bi5 zo1 yo5 (literally "big Bizo land"). Since there are so few syllables ambiguity problems have to be resolved by compounding.

Old Bizozogu texts are read currently using Modern Bizozogu readings, which confuses many people.

Phonology

Initials: w y g z r b tr qu l th s n tw /w j k ʂ ɻ p ʈ kʷ l t s n tʷ/

Vowels: a e i o u /a ɛ i ɔ u/

Tones: 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 /˧˨˧ ˩ ˨˦ ˧ ˥˨ ˥ ˧˦˧/

Old Bizozogu had final consonants, but this was lost in Modern Bizozogu.

Grammar

Bizozogu is head-initial and SOV.
