Morphology

"Erhua" (pharyngealization) is sometimes used to nominalize verbs (from PLak *⟨X⟩) or form passives/intransitive verbs (from PLak *⟨r⟩) from transitive ones.

• hæ̊g /hœʔ/ = to lose one's way > hæ̊rg /hœˤʔ/ = mistake, error
• ngoj /ngoj/ = to see > ngojr /ngoˤ/ = to be visible, to appear
