Skundavisk

Etymology

From Middle Skundavisk sted, from Old Skundavisk stedi, staedi, from Halmisk stadi, stadiŕ, from Proto-Germanic *stadiz. Doublet of stad, which arose from stadŕ, a consonantal-stem variant of stadiŕ, and thus wasn't affected by i-umlaut.
