Current flag of the Republic of Dár Lífasyám (since 12 January 1993). The flag is a slight modification of the Soviet-era flag, with widened stripes at the bottom and the hammer and sickle replaced by a hendecagram: ten points represent the ten provinces of the country at the time of independence in 1991, and the eleventh represents national unity. The star has not been changed despite the number of provinces passing from ten to thirteen in the 2004 administrative reform.
Current flag of the Republic of Dár Lífasyám (since 22 December 2021). The current flag replaced a slightly modified version (1993-2021) of the flag of the Lifashian SSR (1957-1993). The new flag restored the purple and black colours of the flag of the Directory of the Lifashian Pontus after the uprising of 1915, together with the red of the Lifashian SSR and first independent Lifashian flags, although in a lighter shade. The three golden stars represent the three moments of Lifashian statehood: the Directory and the subsequent Lifashian SSR; the so-called First independent Republic (1991-2018); and the Second Republic (2018-).
