Toki Ike phonotactics is identical to that of Toki Pona. /n/ codas are treated as syllabic nasals.

Tone

Toki Ike syllables have 10 possible tones: /˥ ˦ ˧ ˨ ˩ ˧˩ ˦˥˨ ˦˥˦ ˧˥ ˩˧/, romanized ā̄ ā a a̱ a̱̱ a̖ a̰ ȧ á a̗. /˧/ is the least marked tone. Only /˧ ˨/ tones may occur on non-word-initial syllables.
