The '''R-Aestrian''' language (''R'' from Romance, ''Aestrian'' is a fictional name) is an a-posteriori language and also an artlang based on ''Spanish'', ''Portuguese'', ''Occitan-Catalan'', ''French'' and ''Italian''. It was supposed to be an auxlang, but the creator decided to change it's purpose because of it's lexical and grammar.
===Phonology===
===Vowels===
R-Aestrian vowels are not distinguished by lenghtness, but by sound. Long vowels are the normal vowels in words, like the A in Aèstrian, and short vowels are vowels that take a grave accent like è, ì, ò, ù, there is no short for /a/.
