I am a bibliophile - one who loves books. I am also an amateur linguist, dabbling in morphology, etymology, and syntax. I developed my love of languages and linguistics about a year ago, and learned a great deal since then about it. Being a bibliophilie and internet addict helps :) I also enjoy conlanging - constructing languages. Most of the languages I construct are for purely artistic or self-educational purposes, and are by no means intended to be used as auxiliary languages or for testing philological hypotheses.

I have an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) called Asperger's Syndrome (AS). AS is characterized by significant difficulties in social situations and nonverbal communication. Restricted and repetitive patterns of behavior and interests are also found with AS. It differs from other ASDs by its preservation of linguistic and cognitive development. Physical clumsiness and peculiar or odd use of language are frequently reported, but aren't required for diagnosis.

Personally, I consider AS simply as a social inconvenience, a slight obstacle if you will. For the most part, I have few difficulties in social settings and reading nonverbal cues. I have a few repetitive behaviors though, such as making clicks randomly and being infuriatingly organized :p Regarding language use, I do have rhotacism, and I used to have a lisp when I was little. You should never allow me to throw things, because I have absolutely no aim whatsoever.
