Etymology
From Old Tefrian sbt (/sepVtʰ/), from Proto-Tephricheic *sepeθ, borrowed from Akkadian 𒐌 (sebet) (compare the other Semitic cognates to the Akkadian numeral such as Arabic سبعة (sabʕa), Aramaic שבעא (šabhʿā), and Hebrew שבעה (shiv'á)). Cognate with West Achissari ہپھتھ (hepʰetʰ) and East Achissari ہفس (hefs), also may be distantly related to descendants of Proto-Kartvelian *šwid-, such as Georgian შვიდი (švidi) and Laz შქით (şkit).
