Bonzic is one of the three major branches of the Quame languages. Characteristics include:
- It is the only branch that keeps distinct all 3 of the Proto-Quame stop series, voiced, tenuis and ejective. Talmic merged voiced and ejective, and Naquic merged tenuis with voiced.
