Northern Thedish is a dialect of Thedish that is highly divergent from Standard Thedish. It uses many inflectional forms and isoglosses that were lost in Standard Thedish.
san (< sá yn) = specific article
gume = human
viar = man (male)
derie = to hurt
kvaz þat... = once upon a time/it came to pass
Grammar
Verbs
Infinitive: mak, make = to make, to do
Present: ikьm at mak, þúr at mak, er isь at mak, virьm at mak, urьþ at mak, sínь at mak
