The Poccasin FederationKetaserang: is an archipelagic and island country within the Poccasin Archipelago. It contains PLACEHOLDER% of the archipelago's land area and PLACEHOLDER% of the population, and comprises more than 8,500 islands, cays and inlets of the Poccasin Sea. The capital and largest city is Cassim Po, on the island of Kabao.

The Poccasin Archipelago was inhabited for thousands of years by various different indigenous groups, including the Bemung, Nyé-Seru and Neng La peoples, with Malaccan and other Malay trade flourishing in the 1400s, until the Portuguese set up a colony in Cassim Po in the 1500s. Cassim Po was initially abandoned, then re-established by the British, who by the 1800s had turned the small ghost town into a thriving port, with a large population, which eventually lead to mingling between European colonists and the native Kabao population, creating a unique creole culture that would develop what would eventually become Poccasin English and Bemé.
The success of Cassim Po led to a renewed fervour of European interest in the Poccasins for the next 150 years, leading to the establishment of colonies such as Midouz (France), José Antonio (Spain; now Sulakrang), São Jorge e Paulo (Portugal; now Columban)
