Jyglagi

Jyglagi[jɪɡ.ˈlɑ.ˌɡi] is an artlang created by Edward Harper in 2013. It was first made as a personal challenge when he first discovered conlanging. This is the 2017 revival, however, being a remake of the original.

There are 22 basic consonant phonemes.

There are some allophones, but these are all of the the phonemes in the language.

The phonemes Cc, and Zz, are only used in loanwords.

Vowels

There are 9 basic vowel phonemes.

There, once again, are certain allophones, but these are all the vowel phonemes for Jyglagi.

The Phoneme Ææ is a only used in loanwords.

Stress

In Jyglagi, primary stress is placed on the first syllable, and secondary is on the second syllable.

Intonation

Though intotation is free, it tends to fall into these patterns: H: high, M: medial, L: low
