Old Clofabosin is the oldest attested stage of Clofabosin. It is written in a syllabary.

In modern Clofabosin, verbs are bound forms that cannot appear without one or more inflectional suffixes. In contrast, Old Clofabosin verb stems could be used independently, particularly in verb-verb compounds, where the first verb was typically an uninflected root.
