Talman music uses the staff notation <!--, with the staff representing a pitch in the overtone scale, was brought to Talma from Bjeheond. However, it has been adapted to fit the Talman tradition. -->(is it independent or was it brought from Bjeheond?). One uniquely Talman characteristic is the use of "shifting fundamentals" where the reference pitch for the staff changes in the middle of a piece. Also, accidentals are used as in the Helmholtz-Ellis notation. The notation system is used for both just intonation and EDOs.
