I think somewhere north of this plot of land, there's two major branches that go NW and NE respectively, and a large island between them, thus the earth acts a bit like a cradle. This is a map of Medyestan with the major Medyestani dialects. Unfortunately, it's rather terrible, not quite orthographic, and apparently the rest of the world doesn't exist. It has rivers on it though!
I think somewhere north of this plot of land, there's two major branches that go NW and NE respectively, and a large island between them, thus the earth acts a bit like a cradle. So this isn't all of Medyestan, and the rivers up north should probably go somewhere useful.
