וינדרמיר היא שפה שהשראתה מעברית ומקְמֶרית (קמבודית), שפות המשתפות מאפיינים רבים כגון:

• הטעמה מלרעית ברוב המילים (בקמרית, בכל המילים)
• צירופי עיצורים בתחילת מילה הם נפוצים. למשל pn, tm, kt, pt, pk, ps
• תחביר דומה: לוואיים באים לאחר שם העצם, מילות יחס באות לפני שם העצם

וינדרמירית משתייכת לשפות הלָקוֹביות.

Once, six children were in a round table. Master Brăwied asked them a question: "How many of you are here?"

While the others were still counting, one child called out: "Sixty-three! 6 individuals, 15 teams of two, 20 teams of 3, 15 teams of 4, 6 teams of 5, and one team of 6."

Then Master Brăwied asked: "Well then, how many people will be there if another person enters?"

The child nonchalantly responded: "Isn't it obvious, Master? Here we have all of the old teams, as well as another set of teams with the new person!"

The Master praised the child by saying, "This child has wisdom indeed."
