Hello everyone! On this page, I'll list the appropriate categorisation and nomenclature of templates, thus hoping to establish a easy, logical and transparent system.

Categorisation

General

 • Countable template categories shall be in plural. Abstraction categories, e.g. Functionality, use their basic form.
 • All templates shall have the category .
 • Experimental templates shall have only one category: and use the Template:Experimental.
 • Most templates hould be documented, with the documentation template.

Specific

 • When creating templates, known as page headers, or simply headers, use .
 • Please remember that the Template:Bluepagehead is redundant, instead use Template:Header.
 • Templates related to archiving, receive the .
 • Templates related to the Linguifex:Featured language receive the
 • Templates imported from Wikipedia receive the .
 • Templates needing special attention', stubs, poorly written articles et cetera, get
 • Related to the Contionary get:
 • Documentation templates shall only have these categories: and as well as categories of the parent page.

Language templates

 • Templates that are specifically designed for your language go to

Other

[Documentation lacking article - My favourite... :P

Nomenclature

Templates

 • Variations of a template, or subpages, should be named Template:Template name/Subpage name.
