Modern Adetsib is a particular vernacular lect of Adetsib. It is a spoken language of the modern Adetsib people while Ancient Adetsib is still used liturgically as a classical language.

In general the phonology looks more modern Talman now. "Unusual" features include lateral obstruents, labialized velars, and the fact that it has only one 'liquid' - /ɴ̆/.
