General Information

Germanic languages hail from northern Europe, natural language examples include English, Danish, Dutch, Old Saxon, Gothic, Frisian, Scots, German, Swedish, and Norwegian, and others. This category page is for any language with ties to Germanic language family, be it a natural or a constructed language.

The Germanic language family is often divided up into several branches.
