Skundavisk

Etymology

From Middle Skundavisk gelōuen, from Old Skundavisk galōuan, galōban, from Halmisk galouban, galoubian, from Proto-Germanic *galaubijaną. The i sound of Halmisk galoubian fell before i-umlaut operated, hence the modern form instead of *geløven.
