Toki Pona
Glyph origin
The main glyph represents a blobular shape like a drawing of a cloud or a mochi that is roasting and expanding. It is also similar to the blobular image used in the bouba/kiki effect study.
Etymology
From Japanese ふわふわ (“[an onomatopoeia describing something soft or fluffy]”).
Also resembles the nonce word mul ("bouba") → [[Contionary:{{{3}}}|{{{3}}}]] ("{{{4}}}"), from the 2001 study which coined the bouba/kiki effect conducted by V. S. Ramachandran and Edward Hubbard.
