Among them a girl named Theso was born. She was always a very curious child even at a young age, and she was without flaw or sin, for she had not been given Desire. She would stare down from the branches of the Mazo to the verdant green patches of land hidden between gaps in the clouds to the ground below. She dreamt of going there, and it soon became the main focus of her life. As she grew older, she found people of similar minds who longed for the ground, and gathered them together from far and wide. They built two enormous airships to glide down to the ground, and were mocked by the other Lokhor, who could not understand their reason for leaving the comfort and pleasure of the cities and Servants. | Among them a girl named Theso was born. When Theso was 50 years in age, the great airships were finally finished, and the people who longed for the ground departed. Theso piloted the first ship, and Lise the second. The two great leaders parted ways, Lise heading off to the great lakes of Tayape, and Theso to the jungled plains of Ae, named for the glimmering sands along lake Juhe, where Theso first landed. They founded their first city along the banks of the Ksowa river, and learned again the long lost art of living from the land. the founders of Ae were very fertile, and soon spread out across all of Ae, bending the creatures of the land to their will. Their numbers grew in the trillions, and the city of Ksowa expanded from its center to extend across all of the central plains, absorbing city after city in one great metropolis that went on without end. Around the center of Ksowa a great wall was built, 5 miles high and 300 miles around, to protect the heart of Ae. The buildings of the endless city dwarfed even the mountains in their majesty. | |||
