Netagin (Nădoghin) is an Ashkenazi Hebrew- and Welsh-inspired Shalaic language. It is related to Shalaian but phonologically is less conservative.

About

External history

This is the fifth reincarnation of Netagin (my past Hebrew-inspired conlangs). I'm probably going to take a lot of aesthetic influence from Windermere and Skellan.

Phonology

A "Satem Welsh"

Vowels:

  • full: i u e~ai o~au ɛ œ ɔ a eə oə i u ae ao e ö o a ea oa

    • p b t d h tʂ dʐ tɕ dʑ k g q (p b t d h cz j ć j́ c g q) -> b v d ð z dʐ ʐ dʑ ʑ g ɣ ɴ (b v d ð z j ż j́ ź g gh l)
  • ejectives and geminates (from creaky voice) become fricatives: p’ t’ tɬ’ tʃ’ k’ q’ h -> f θ ʃ ʃ x χ s (f þ š š ch ħ s)
