Omůj (natively hledek Omůj /l̥eˈdek oˈmuəj/) is a Polish, Czech and Hmong inspired isolate spoken in Bjeheond. Grammar-wise it's similar to Modern Windermere and Hlou.

Prohlad = a name?

Phonology

/a e i o u ɜ ɨ ai au aɨ iə uə ei ou/ a e i o u ə w ai au aw ě ů ee oo + syllabic r, l and n

/pʰ p~b m f tʰ t~d n θ ts dz~z s tɕ dʑ~ʑ ɲ ɕ/ p b m f t d n þ c z s ć ź ń ś

/kʰ k~g ŋ x h l l̥ r r̥ w w̥ j ç/ k g ŋ ħ h l hl r hr v hv j hj

Omůj words are weakly stressed on the final syllable. There is vowel height harmony in unstressed syllables, with e o ə alternating with i u w.

Vowel harmony:

  • "high" vowels: i w u ai aw au l n r
  • "low" vowels: e ə o a ě ů ee oo

Initial clusters

Typical Germanic ones, plus a few extra Slavic ones (zm, zn, zń, zŋ, zl, zr, zb, zd, zg, zdr, nr, mr ...)

Orthography

Omůj uses the (some Ldonjaman) alphabet, introduced by missionaries from Ldonjama.

Nouns
