Middle Annerish

Etymology

Disputed; per Teagan, a consolidation of disparate substrate borrowings. However, Bernthaler suggests partial Proto-Germanic origin on account of the nasal-stem verbal noun and dental preterite with preverb c (<*ga-), but concedes difficult to derive formally from any known root.

Pronunciation

(Annerish) IPA: /ˈfarʲə/ [ˈfʷæɹə]

Verb

faıre (runic:ᛚᛆᛁᛧᛁ)

  1. (col.) Winter windstorms.

  4. (pass.; of men, dated, somewhat derog.) To follow a leader (+de)
