Phonology:

  • consonants (word-finally): t (s), p (ɸ), k (x) and (l)
  • vowels (rounded): a (ɶ), ɑ (ɒ), e (ø), ɤ (o), i (y), ɯ (u)
    • initial-only: æ̃, ẽ, (ɔ̃), (ũ)

Phonotactics:

  • Onsetless language which only uses nucleus and coda
  • Vowel-harmony with roundedness --> only one rounded-mark: aei vs. :aei

Script: vowel-abugida in which consonant codas are marked onto vowels: aei /at'et'is/, áéí /ap'ep'iɸ/, àèì /ak'ek'ix/, :àeí /ɶk'øt'yɸ/, â /al/, ã /æ̃/
