The "invite" meaning is most commonly used with a subjunctive sentence (cf. in the example above bumbīndu - have_dinner.SUBJ.IMPF-EXP-1DU.PATIENT.EXTERIOR.); the thing one is invited or admitted to, if expressed by a noun, is in the dative case (cf. kahērmalenyom - kahērmaleni-DAT.SG)
