From Old Jorvanian ata. Further etymology uncertain. Possibly from Daburjan-Hetherian حَتَّى (ḥattā), Latin ad ista (“to this”) or Latin ad tenus (“as far as”). Compare Lavenderian hasta and Verdeiran até.
