Norwardry was originally a Gaulish region until the Weardrish tribe wanted to migrate from the north to go to what is now Southweardrich. The gaulish people who lived in the region refued so a time called the Weardo-Gaulish ensions assured, the Weardish succeded and moved to the south, but the [[w:Old English|Weardrish language]] influenced the Vulgar Latin-speaking communities in Norwardry. So the Gauls who lived in the region adopted the name Weadrish and added the word ''[[Contionary:Ġeal|Ġeal]]'' meaning Gallic.
