The quintessential Palkhan musical instruments are the ''tsaltho'' (''chaḷdō'' in Palkhan), very similar to the cello, and the Palkhan drum (''pātre'').

The indigenous religion of Pategia, ''Thỉrot·ekhemleci'', is quite similar to Celtic paganism, and is followed by about 20% of Pategians today. The rest are mostly atheist or Ngeðraist.


Palkhan music is based on a fusion of native styles and Lakovic ones. Native Palkhan music tends to be richly ornamented, and is based on a unique set of 25 "tones", some of which are defined as vibratos with fixed endpoints. The underlying scale, though, has only 10 tones per octave.

Palkha has its own offshoot of Windermere music as well. Some styles that fell out of use in Talma are still commonly performed in Palkha, such as the song with intoning voice (''wălam yăthmear''). Palkha is in fact home to the composer Dăraf Ko, a leading composer of ''yăthmear'' songs, some of which incorporate native Palkhan classical styles in addition to Windermere ones.
