Several different schemes are in use for naming tropical cyclones in Tricin. By convention any Trician tropical cyclone is called a hurricane in English when the storm has hurricane-force winds (i.e. wind speed above a set value).

Etalocian hurricane names are words and sometimes personal names from classical Etalocian languages (e.g. Dodellian, Classical Netagin, Tamil, Thensarian, Adetsib).
