Several different schemes are in use for naming tropical cyclones in Tricin. By convention any Trician tropical cyclone is called a hurricane in English when the storm has hurricane-force winds (i.e. a wind speed above a set value).

Etalocin

Etalocian hurricane names are words and sometimes personal names from classical Etalocian languages (e.g. Dodellian, Classical Netagin, Tamil, Thensarian, Adetsib). (The official name is the Eevo transliteration of the word.)

Bjeheond

Txapoalli

New World

In the New World hurricane names are Eevo personal names (reflecting Eevo's dominance in the modern New World).
