Proto-Wakanic is the ancestor of Proto-Veraic, Wakanese and Proctorian. It's about 2000 years old.
Phonology
Proto-Wakanic is reconstructed with 12 consonants, 11 vowels and two tones: high and low.
The low tone is marked with a grave accent: *dàbəno "tree", *meṇàgì "book", *nedə̀da "house" (→ Verapamil sallu (tree), vezhai (book), lesta (house))
