From ūtaðra ‘extra, outside’ (from Middle Valthungian ūtaðro, from Old Valthungian uvtaðrou, from Griutungi ūtaþrō, cf. Gothic ūtaþrō, from ProtoGermanic ūtaiþrô) and mǣns ‘common, regular, normal’ (from Middle Valthungian mǣns, Old Valthungian maens, from Griutungi mǣns, cf. Gothic mains, from ProtoGermanic mainiz).
