Transliteration

Ar sŋímeadh ag moileadh car, molúr hú tiortar.
Asaiŋŋt asaŋtaigh hú cré chiamh,
ach aru le tnáigh bhfá mar le toimhear gil bólaí máslaeŋa le sonaiŋŋt;
cuín bárfásaigh an Saichte gúine,
réisí chreabhaigh hú ag blósaigh hú, ag réisí h-oithigh an rách.

Translation

When a man gives praise and thanks, let him do so twice.
Die he will one day,
but he must have faith that leaves can appear on barren soil.
For the gods are ever present, so long as it dawns and dusks, and so long as time passes.
