Etymology

From Old Tevrés queindre from Late Aeranir cueñor, from Aeranir cuiñor (“I think, I feel”), from Proto-Iscaric kʷiɲōr, from PME kweiñ ("to say, to speak"). Compare with coeña ("word"). Cognate with S'entigneis queindre, Ilesse quẽire.
