The Pulcheranto sound system is very similar to the Esperanto one, with three additional sounds: ''th'' /θ/, ''dh'' /ð/ and ''ng'' /ŋ/. The Gussnish vowels /ə/ and /ɨ/ are absent in Pulcheranto.

Nouns following numbers are always singular. Ordinals are formed by adding ''me'' to the cardinals: ''jethme'' 'first', ''slume'' 'second', ... Multiplicatives as in "threefold", "fourfold", ... add an infix ''luĵ'' followed by an adjectival -''e'': ''derluĵe'' "threefold".
