Welcome everyone, to a new language featuring on Linguifex!

We thank User:Waahlis and his Attian language for being a great and inviting conlang for our wiki's front page!

Nominations for this month's contest will be open for 14 days, until August 19th, when the voting commences.

  • If you have not already, please visit this page to read up on the procedure.
Rules
  • A user may not nominate more than one conlang during the same nomination period.
  • The language must have the featured banner translated or be in a stage where it can be done by anyone, please display this in your conlang's article.
  • When you nominate a conlang, please state its purpose in the description, if known.
  • Winning conlangs may be re-nominated once 3 months have passed.

Please list the nominator, nominee language and author in your comment, as well as a motivation.

"This language was once featured. Thanks to its level of quality, plausibility and usage capabilities, it has been voted as featured."

Criteria

Try to vote and nominate according to these criteria:

  • Intention - How well the language serves its intention, if any.
  • Naturalism - Depending on the intention, the language can be judged naturalistic or unnaturalistic.
  • Grammar - How are the various grammatical components cooperating? Is it complicated, too complicated or simple? Depends on its intention.
  • Usability - Is the language usable, functional or difficult to use? How are the texts glossed? How many texts/words are there?
  • Completeness - "Perfection is many small details done well" - Marco Pierre White - Does the language seem complete to you? Is it lacking in any aspect?
