Several different schemes are in use for naming tropical cyclones in Tricin. By convention any Trician tropical cyclone is called a hurricane in English when the storm has hurricane-force winds (i.e. a wind speed above a set value).
Bitaleta
Bitaletan hurricane names may be
- words and sometimes personal names from classical Bitaletan languages (Dodellian, Netagin, Windermere, Tigol)
- Eevo names for flowers, birds or fish
The official name is the Eevo transliteration of the word.

Cualuav
In Cualuav hurricane names are Eevo personal names in alphabetical order (reflecting Eevo's dominance in Cualuav).
