Etymology
Possibly related to Proto-Coelo-Caric *čenta ("land"). It is uncertain whether this root was a verb or a noun. In Silōs, it survives only in compounds and is therefore not clarified in this question, and in Carichendan, the familiar -era suffix of agency was appended, suggesting it was a verb in Pre-Carichendan, but also possibly reflecting an alteration to distinguish it from a homophone such as cha ("but").
